Why Assemblage?
Assemblages are characterized by their relational nature. They involve arranging diverse entities that come together to form a new whole. These assemblages are not mere representations of the world but are productive, generating new territorial organizations, behaviors, expressions, actors, and realities. They are also heterogeneous, encompassing various elements such as humans, animals, things, and ideas. This socio-material perspective breaks down the traditional division between nature and culture. You are invited to watch these movies and consider how we can relate to all that surrounds us and how we are a part of it. Can we think about our new realities in this way? How can this perspective help us better understand the world around us?
