The bonus film screening for the Latin American Film festival will be the award-winning documentary Mama, Irene, Healer of the Andes (2022) by directors Bettina Ehrhardt and Elisabeth Mohlmann.
Synopsis: Mama Irene, Healer of the Andes tells the story of an 86-year-old healer from Peru. We follow her everyday life, discovering her incredible life journey and her gifts, drawn from indigenous knowledge and traditions.
