The CLAS Andean-Studies working group invites you to a virtual talk on "Indigenous Women's Right to Choose in Argentina" by Josefina Navarro, an Associate Professor of Quechua in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the National University of Jujuy and a language activist in both formal and informal educational settings.

The talk will be held on March 8 at 10:30 am via Zoom. Prof. Navarro will discuss the challenges faced by indigenous women in Argentina and their struggles and successes for reproductive rights. This talk is a unique opportunity to learn about the experiences and perspectives of indigenous women and to engage in a dialogue about the current state of abortion-rights movements in the Americas.
