Ph.D. student Clio Isaacson has received the Charlotte W. Newcombe Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships for her project: Women of the Nahuatl Annals: Writing the Lives of Women in Late Pre-Hispanic and Early Colonial Mexico, advised by Prof. Townsend. Clio and one other student in the history Ph.D. program was selected from a pool of over 500 applicants.. 22 Fellows were chosen.
