The American Historical Association (AHA) has announced the winners of its 2025 prizes, recognizing Jazmín Puicon (Bard Early College–Newark), a PhD graduate in History from Rutgers University, as one of the honorees. Puicon received the Beveridge Family Teaching Award for excellence and innovation in K–12 teaching, an award that “honors the Beveridge family’s long-standing commitment to the AHA and K–12 teaching. Friends and family members endowed this award to recognize excellence and innovation in elementary, middle school, and secondary history teaching, including career contributions and specific initiatives.”
